CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Popular Charlotte barbecue restaurant Mac’s Speed Shop announced that due to several factors customers will see price increases and some favorite food items cut from the menu.
The restaurant stated Wednesday that they wanted to provide an update on their current situation to their loyal guests. They expressed that due to the supply chain, pricing and staffing issues changes would be made that could impact some restaurant favorites.
“Brisket and chicken wings are two items in particular that are at all-time highs and our partners are telling us that there is no end in sight for the record level pricing so we are forced to increase our prices,” President of Mac’s Hospitality Group Shang Skipper said.
The restaurant said if any of your favorite items are not on the menu, you can ask the server if they can make it and if they have the ingredients they will.
“We hope to get back to our full menu and normal pricing levels soon. In the meantime, come in and have a beer, enjoy some food and remember to treat your bartenders and servers kindly, Skipper said. “They are working long days and nights to make sure that you have a great experience.”
